We had avoided returning to Skippers (after our last two dining experiences – several years ago – were not up to standards)..Today we returned, for I was craving the crispy edges of the battered fish… and we were so pleasedToday the Skippers in Kennewick shone..The restaurant was spotless,…. Clean and renewedThe people behind the counter were friendly, helpful, and with smiles all the whileAnd quickly brought out our food, and were ready for our refillsThe fish was NOT greasy (where before we had hot grease under the batter) … the fish were uniform pieces, cooked to perfectionThe chowder was thicker, .. and you could see/ and taste the clams…We were so pleased with our visit ..Thank you Kennewick Skippers… We shall return more frequently, now that we know You care about the product, too !
Clean enough, just about. Table sticky, condiment bar really messy. Aside from that the fish had no flavor, lively fries undercooked. The chowder was good. Not Ivars or Mo’s good, but plenty good enough. Unless I want soup, guess I’ll skip this place.
Good hot meal. Fish was fried fresh and chowder was passable. I believe this Skipper’s is under new management. If you need to get your deep fried food on, this is a good place. Get the 2 piece fish and a bowl of chowder and stay away from the all you can eat (less than ten bucks) unless you want to drive directly to the KGH Cardiac Care Unit. Bon Appetit!
