Pizza never arrived, waited two hours. Called for updates and was told that the delivery driver was missing and couldn’t be find. No offer to send a new pizza to me.Amante’s response was EVEN WORSE than than the underlying situation. They initially had no intention of either delivering the pizza OR giving a refund. No one bothered to call me with an update. I called several times for an update and was placed on hold for ten minutes when I did reach someone. I then asked for a refund and was put on hold for another 15 minutes, and then the employee begrudgingly offered a refund. They never said sorry or took any responsibility for the mistake. Completely unprofessional, they lost a long-time customer. Please spend your money somewhere that treats its customers with honesty and respect.

My parents love coming here. I work down the street and meet up with them to check in on them. I don’t eat just have a drink. Every time I eat the food it makes me sick.
Fantastic Pizza!!!. I am not sure what happened when other reviewers went to Amante’s – but both times when I have visited, I have had fantastic food – pizza to die for! My husband and I had great pizzas there in the past, but it had been over a year, so when my visiting nephew wanted to go out for pizza, I thought of Amante. After reading the reviews, I was uncertain, but decided to go see for myself, and am SO glad I did! It was a Saturday night (8/24/13), and the place was fairly busy. There was only one server, but she did a great job. Our salads were fresh and delicious, with excellent homemade dressing. And then…the pizza – ooh, I am still dreaming of it! We had a #8, the Sicilian, and it is seriously some of THE best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust just right – tender and flavorful, not too thick and not too thin. The sauce delicious, the toppings fantastic – the pepperoni a bit crispy, the veggies…and the cheese, oh the ooey-gooey, yummy cheese…HEAVENLY!!! I could eat this pizza every day. We also had a #22, The Ceasar, and it was delish as well – loaded with fresh delectable toppings on that addictive crust, the wonderful sauce & cheese… I am going to tell everyone I know to get themselves down to Amante asap…and my husband and I will be going back repeatedly – we need to try all of the pizzas!!! Let’s keep this place in business – go try it, you won’t be sorry!
On 04-01-13 i called the # for chao praya thai and it is the same # for Amante pizza.01 Apr, 20134-01-13 ordered pepperoni pizza. the crust is a cheap commercial type. cheese is like rubber and got only a few pepperoni pieces. Dont be fooled its not authentic.
Just like the other reviews stated, food is okay and the service was non existent. I thought it was suspicious that the place was nearly empty on a Tuesday evening?
Drove all the way across town on my lunchbreak to eat here and I’m sorry I did. Sat down for lunch and my order came in to go boxes. WTF?! This is nothing more than a dressed up olive garden with mediocre pizza. Don’t bother.
