Pathetic service. Hostess/waitress seemed irritated even tho we were the only people in there at noon on a Sunday. Didn’t seat us just walked us halfway across the place and waved at a booth. Gave us crap service, walked away before finishing any sentences. (Asian women maybe 30+)Small portion. Food tasted ok nothing significantly great about this place except the interior design. Deceptive. My girlfriend and I went to this place for lunch. We noticed other tables with good sized bowls, so we ordered the red curry w/ chicken and added a little pad thai for $1 more which was one of their menu options. To our surprise, the bowl of chicken curry was half the size of the other bowls at the other tables. I think they call this bait & switch. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great but this marketing tactic is wrong and deceptive.

Delicious Thai curry. With attentive servers, delicious food and a unique modern Thai decor, Banyan Tree has become my new favorite restaurant at Kent Station. On my first visit to the eatery last week, I was able to try the Panang Curry and the Pineapple Curry. While the Panang Curry was enjoyable, the pineapple curry was a perfect combination of savory and sweet. Each curry was filled with an appetizing sauce and superbly cooked chicken. I recommend pairing a Thai iced tea with your meal, as it provided a tasty way to cut down the spiciness of the curry. The only regrettable part of the evening was being too full to try more.
