We walked past here today & saw the door was all chained up and had a lock on it. It appears that they have been closed since mid February of 2014. Other Cal’s locations are also closed so don’t think this will reopen.
Stumbled across this gem by accident. Cool idea with your own personal tap right at your finger tips. Inventive drink menu as well. I’d love to see one in the Portland Oregon area!
Cal’s Classic American is a nice restaurant. The menu is varied, and they have the go to Grilled Cheese and tomato soup for a cold winter day, Mac and cheese to get you going and many meaty items.
Service was good but the food was mediocre. Fries were greasy, cheese was clumpy, salad and sandwiches bland. We did not enjoy our visit because of the food.
