The best clam chowder I’ve ever eaten

So I finally tried Dukes and the chowder is great the rest of the food although very good was not worth the price tag I found myself thinking, I can get this just as good or better elsewhere for less money. Oh and the service was terrible the waitress had this attitude like anytime we asked for more drinks we were really disturbing her and putting her out. Yeah I’d say I probably won’t return

Food was good, had the halibut and chips. Try the Pom-Kazi, really good. Service was very good at the bar.

The best seafood and burgers anywhere.

Eh.. We stopped in for an early dinner at Duke’s in Kent Station the other day. I didn’t like the fact that I had to walk past oogling bar people to be seated. We were given a table in the rear and unfortunately could not escape the bar noise which accelerated during our meal. We both had New England style chowder, fish and chips, cole slaw, regular steak fries and skinny sweet potato fries. We both felt that all of the food served was overly garlic-powdered and couldn’t finish any of it. The Panko crumbed filets would have been been better with less coating. All of the seasoning from the chowder to the chips, cole slaw and fish was heavily seasoned with garlic powder. The tartar sauce was excellent, though. For the $50.00 we spent we could have gone to Ivar’s Salmon House. Sorry, but the seasoning killed the meal. Our server was nice and the manager was very nice.
