We are all about great food, ice-cold hand-crafted beer and creating memories, and we have been for over 40 years. The first RAM opened as a Deluxe Tavern in Lakewood, Washington on February 26th, 1971. Today the RAM is still family owned and headquartered in Lakewood. We now operate over 30 restaurants serving guests in six states including C.B. & Potts in Colorado and C.I. Shenanigans in Tacoma, Washington.Over the years, what began as Deluxe Taverns have grown into the casual, family-oriented restaurants for which we are known and loved. We are dedicated to creating superior quality food, and committed to providing our friends an environment of Gracious Hospitality. From the moment you are greeted at our front door, you will feel like a special guest dining in our home.In 1995, we began brewing our own beer and contributing to the successful evolution of the craft beer industry. Our passionate and talented brewers strive to create the freshest, most drinkable beers you will find, and their efforts have garnered the RAM over 100 medals from institutions as prestigious as the NABA and GABF. We celebrate our brewers ingenuity each and every day with a rotating selection of seasonal creations, which are locally brewed, by hand, with the freshest local ingredients. Now, bearing this history in mind, it made me wonder about the less than stellar beer selection at the KENT STATION branch of The RAM. They only had one lonely IPA that was not bad at all. However, if you are trying to be more like a microbrewery, shouldnt there be a little more of a selection than that? Am I being too demanding because they still want to focus on the Family part of the tavern? Is it possible to have both?On a coast where the making of craft beers transcends a business and becomes a passion, an obsession a way of life, it seems to me that if you lean that way, you simply MUST step up your game. I totally agree with the history I shared above. The KENT STATION branch was welcoming and although I haven’t tried everything on the menu, the food was okay. I just think they desperately need to step up their beer menu if they are going to try and continue to claim they are a craft beer house.

Decent place for burgers and drinks. I was randomly in Kent one evening meeting up with a group of gals. The last time I was at The Ram, was about 15 years ago while I was in college. This place is pretty much always packed and the Kent location is the same. Super busy. Hostesses are quick to get you seated and we also quickly got our Angry Orchard Hard Ciders. We ordered the All American burger (classic burger with accoutrements and fries or salad or chips or cole slaw), but the rest of the menu is much more adventurous than burgers and a salad. As it wasn’t the best food I’ve ever had, it was definitely above average and it helps to have super generous pours of alcohol. They don’t automatically bring you water, so if you plan on drinking 2 or 3 of said generous drinks, you’ll want to ask for one of their enormous glasses of water. Overall, service was prompt and friendly. Our waitress had a tongue ring, and I didn’t even know people were still getting those. In my 30s, I guess I was a member of the old set of customers at the Ram last night.

Nice atmosphere, a little long of a wait on gameday and the food was only mediocre.

Had the foccaccia club and it was great. Service wasn’t so great.

MVP Club Birthday Dessert. If you like mud pie, definitely join their MVP e-mail club. They’ll send you a certificate for a free mud pie dessert that you can use within, approximately, two weeks of your birthday. I redeemed mine tonight and this thing was monstrous! It’s seriously four large portion sizes and could easily be split into six. When the waitress brought it to the table, everyone in the dining room turned and looked. Super yum:-)

Beer Beer Beer!. The food is so-so. I usually come here because I get off work extremely late and this place is open late. I love their beer-battered food though. My favorite is their calamari. This place is mainly known for their beer, so definitely come to enjoy that experience.
