What a Fun Spot !!!. I had lunch at Krain Corner Restaurant yesterday and it was really wonderful. The staff were very friendly… the food was FANTASTIC ! and the ambience was charming. A great stop for breakfast or lunch if you’re heading up to Mt. Rainier or dinner on the way back into Seattle after a days hike.
Poor service and food. I just wanted to warn everyone to stay away from Krain Corner if they want to have good food or service because this is not the case. I believer the owner is trying her best but her staff is not devoted to doing a good job for her. if I was her I would fire all staff. Especially her cooks because they do not care what type of meal they are serving to customers.
Grouse food rude staff haven’t came in a year hope for there sake it is better I don’t see how people eat it
The worst. If you dont mind your boyfriend being hit on by the waitress then by all means go hear. My steak tasted like cardboard and not once was I asked if it was ok ….on the other hand she brought out my boyfriend a whole new steak because she thought his wasnt good enough
The Krain is a great place along with good food & good prices there is history every place you look. It’s like eating at Grandma’s house.

Worth a Sunday drive!. I love this place…. Yea- it is a bit of a hike from Seattle or Tacoma, but if you love good down home cooking- this is the place. Best cornbeef hash ever!
