Best birthday dinner ever. My mom took me to one of the best restaurants for my birthday I have ever been to. Seattle is such a great foodie town but this place is surprisingly on Vashon island – Sea Breeze Farm & La Boucherie. We did the chefs choice menu which was two appetizers, 3 small plates, entree and dessert. It was all farm to table. I was in foodie heaven. Recommend you make a day on the island and dinner at this sublime bistro. You will think you have arrived in Paris….sigh…burp…

Incredible. The pat we had here was the best I’ve ever had in my life (and I get to eat at some pretty fine places). Service, wine, atmosphere, everything was just perfect. ALL restaurants should be like this!
Just the best. We first met Matt Lawrence, the Manager of La Boucherie at the Ballard Farmers market selling Meat products from the farm on Vashon island that supplies this restaurant with its fresh and local ingredients. I purchased some terrine of pressed pork with pistachios and took it home, after my first bite of this terrine I was immediately transported back to a summer in Paris, you will simply not find a better Charcutier in Seattle or Los Angeles for that matter. After experiencing this terrine we had to make a trip out to Vashon Island to try eating at La Boucherie, It did not disappoint. For lunch or dinner you must go… Or better yet, go for lunch and stay for dinner.
I think it was incredible. It puts 5 Star restaurants to shame.I love having a dinner where you don’t have to think about what to eat and can relax and have a pleasant meal with friends.That’s exactly what I got at La Boucherie.
