Both Keith and the rest of the staff served with an excellent attitude. Ordered a cheesy garlic bread and a small Hawaiian-equivelant pizza. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheesy garlic bread, served as a small pizza. The pizza itself was great, perfectly cooked with well blended flavours. Highly reccomend for good value pizza.
Gluten free. So theres a new pizza place on the island called Saucy Sisters. It doesnt look good but Lu asked to try it. Theyre advertising a gluten-free pizza so I ask. Oh, its made somewhere else and its made in a bag so its definitely gluten-free. What about the rest? Well, they put semolina on the paddle so it doesnt stick. Um, thats gluten. Some of the ingredients in the Subway-style production line have gluten in them. (Pizza toppings?!) and they wont allow the teenagers working there to change their gloves before making a gf pizza. Too busy. How is this a gluten-free pizza? Well, she shouted as I turned to go. Its a gluten- free crust!
New pizza shop in Vashon – wicked fast, but still ironing out the wrinkles. Fast pizza. Bright, friendly setting. Some problems with burning on the bottom. Lots of kids working the counter who are no doubt still learning the trade. Just opened, so I trust they’ll get better.Tried the Quarter Masterpiece on traditional crust – good flavor (meats and cheese). Tried vegan style, gluten-free and wheat crusts… these didn’t hold up as well, particularly the burnt crust issue.
