After watching the cook pour 2 #10 cans of sausage gravy into there crock pot I looked around and realized they don’t make any or very little themselves or from scratch. I won’t be back.
Testy Chef Cafe. Bad ass chicks serving up some divey breakfast awesomeness. Even if the food was crappy, I’d go back just to watch Angie rock the griddle.
My husband and I drove passed here for the past few years and have always said we have to try this place. We did and we found that we should’ve stopped long before now. They are fantastic… food is always hot never ever burnt. They have the gift of speed, accuracy and personality. A pleaure on each visit.
YUM!!!!!. This is one of my favorite restaurant this has clean floors and a nice view of the cedar river and The ladies there know exactly what I like I the bacon-garlic-cheese-burgerfor lunch and for breakfast the testy mess.
Quaint greasy spoon in the big MV. Note – no credit, cash or check only. Sit on the outside deck if you can, great river view. It’s covered and heated when it’s cold outside, they uncover in nice weather. Old skool grill, breakfast and lunch only. Burgers are delicious and come with all trimmings. The ladies I know who eat there love the garlic burger. I like the bacon burger because the bacon is thick-cut and cooked just right. Grilled cheese also excellent. Chicken strips are good, more breadcrumbs style rather than batter style. Fries are thick-cut and excellent. A great solid Americana throwback. They also have drive-thru coffee.
Fun pit stop!. If your out near the Maple Valley area and are in the mood for some good eats I’d suggest stopping hear! It’s a bit pricey but all things considered well worth it. Great food! Great service and a cozy fun feel. Located just above the Cedar river and surrounded by trees it really gives you that country feel!
