My husband had the triple club sandwich and fries. Sandwich was good, fries were a little overcooked but still good. I had the turkey dinner. The turkey was great. It even came with both light and dark meat. The vegis were good as well, not too soft not too firm. I didn’t like the stuffing too much. The gravy however was very good. I also had a strawberry lemonade, excellent. Lemonade with actual strawberries in it like red robin. Waitress was very polite and excellent. Also, a lot of food so come hungry. It came with a soup or salad, I went with tortilla soup and it was great. It also comes with a cream pie. I chose banana cream but am taking it to go. I recommend this restaurant!
Skeptical at 1st but it really was good. Chicken fried steak is a must….also the granger burger 4 stars
Ordered eggs Benedict with hash browns- eggs Benedict wasn’t that good. It was also served with a side of fruit, which was definitely not fresh. I would never go back!
Be sure to try the chicken wings appetizer! They are crunchy, juicy, and seasoned. Hot sauce and ranch on the side. Love them!10 Feb, 2013Fantastic food, great value. Meal included salad, bread, vegetable, and potatoes. Also a free dessert. Everything is homemade and so good. I love the country decor and classic country menu.
Good Place To Eat…..But. The Homestead is a Good Place to Eat ……….Breakfast that is ……I haven’t been there for Dinner in years …..My Problem is I think someone could do a Little Dusting around the Booths and Especially In and Around the Window Sills ………nothing like have a Good Meal and Seeing Cob Webs ,Dust and a Few Other things On and Around the Window Sills and Booths…….it only takes a few minutes To Dust……..Thanks
Difficulty with Salad. Cob Salad-Never got it Waited for over 30 minutes. They struggled to get it made and get it out. Salads seem to be very hard for them. A little too confusing. Waitress and greeter struggle with the basic of things18 Sep, 2011Slooooooww. Ng, can’t choose zero stars. We eat here on occasion and service and food have been average. This last time we had an hour for lunch. Since getting the order taken took a little longer than normal we decided to go for a salad. After nearly a half hour we gave up, talked to greeter at the front to tell him our problem. He apologized. The waitress came over and stated the salads were done. We explained we had no time. He gave us a cookie as compensation and sent us on our way.
Homestead bakery and deli. The decor is great the breakfast was good but the bakery items were hard and stale most out dated exept for the pies the bananna cream to die for.
