An Absolute Must for Sushi Lovers. We’ve been to this wonderful hole-in-the-wall sushi place a few times now, and every time we leave feeling like we’ve had some kind of gastronomic revelation. The fish is so fresh, and the chef has incredible skill balancing flavors and textures, and even takes into account the scents of the various components – sesame, onion, etc. The volcano roll special is a mindbogglingly great cooked roll that includes some of the most perfectly seared, succulent scallops I’ve ever eaten. Several of the rolls were such complex dances of different flavors that I skipped the soy and ate them plain. Absolutely no regrets. The restaurant is at the far end of an old strip of stores, so it’s easy to miss, but it’s so worth it.TL/DR: The food is incredibly delicious, the owners are absolutely sweet, and the service is quick. I really highly recommend it!
