Anthea Ferments is very ‘Whidbey’; serious people cooking seriously good food, but in a totally chill, relaxed atmosphere. We had fabulous pepper steak, rich raman, and divine mussels, but my favorite was the kimchi and the radish pickle.Sit back, relax, and enjoy.

This is a singularly unique restaurant. It’s located at 138 Second Street and I located it as my mapquest brought me into town right past it. It’s unique with food choices such as marinated manchego cheese, roasted duck ramen noodle bowl and kimchi devilled eggs.
