Nasty, incinerated, salt bomb….. Can I give negative stars? We got Fish tacos. Both the card on mine and the salmon on my wife’s was dipped in a grotesquely salty batter. Then, they were fried to death and back again in three day old oil. I was absolutely shocked.

Wonderful staff, food selection and coffee. I had a Tuscan breakfast sandwich that great. We tried a drip coffee as well as an American and latte. All were good.

Burnt coffee served by surly staff. A winning combination.. I love Langley and most things in it — but I’ve got no use for Useless Bay Coffee Co. In the many times I have been here the staff are as smug and surly as they can get and the coffee is just as bitter. Stop at any Whidbey Coffee Co. stand for decent coffee on the island.

Usless Bay Coffee Co. The BEST slow smoked chicken tacos ever! I ordered them for the first time the other night and they blew my socks off. The crunchy cabbage coupled with the smokey pepper (Guajillo? Pasillo?, Chipotle?) in the sauce pulled all the flavors together (with asqueeze of fresh lime) in one magnificent burst of flavor in the mouth. If you ever have the ‘munchies’ get off the couch, order by phone, have a friend drive you, pick up your food, take home and it’s Nirvana at every level.Give this place a try! Now! Right now!

Turkey sandwich. Didn’t like it, bread was stale, adn when I brought it up they tossed it on a panini grill. So in the end I had a hot stale turkey sandwich.

A tradition. Every time my wife and I come to Langley, we stop by here for a nice mocha before going home. We got to check out the new location today. Very clean, very friendly staff, very good mocha, and good times all around. One of my favorite places to stop for a mocha on Whidbey Island.

Best espresso in the NW, thus the world over. Having traveled and tasted extensively, I consider myself a fairly good critic, if not a connoisseur, and this is certainly the best, most ambrosial coffee I’ve found yet. I spent some time chatting with the roaster (an Englishman) and doing some research…. Super-premium grade beans are roasted in full view of the public on a vintage 1950s German Probat Roaster, and their character analyzed before they’re served beautifully by excellent baristas. The hot paninis and pastries I also found to be exceptional… and the grounds! Breathtaking metal- and woodwork by local artists is very impressive. Be sure to visit: highly recommended.
