Marzipan Cake. The best marzipan cake EVER!!!Those who like marzipan would agree, those who bake cakes who agree that there is a lot of work put into making this one. The layers of cake and marzipan, yummy. We don’t go to Leavenworth often but when we are anywhere in 30-40 miles radius I make sure we go to Leavenworth to get some of this cake.Also very delicious are Almond/marzipan dough crescent dipped in chocolate

Just tried the Christmas bread and it is probably the best I have ever had (especially good because I have a German grandmother)! Definitely try this place even though it is a bit outside of the downtown area.
I LOVE the Bavarian Bakery. Sure, Leavenworth is beautiful and fun, but for me the whole reason to go there is to get the Raisin Bread at the Bavarian Bakery. I dream about it. My hubby likes their Wheat and Oatmeal breads, but I’m completely stuck on the Raisin. I know it would make absolutely incredible French toast, but we never have any left over from the night before! The sweets there are decadent, beautiful and delicious, but I’ll take the Raisin Bread any day. Yummmmmmm…
