Authentic German Food. Overall great service and atmosphere! The pork tenderloin was prepared with care and sauce was perfect. Trout was cooked just right , but a little heavy on the butter tonight.
The veal schnitzel was very good! We got the crab cakes. They were a little small. We wished they were a little bit bigger only because they tasted amazing! The potato pancakes were good as was the bratwurst. We enjoyed eating here and would come back.
Best German Restaurant in Leavenworth. Try Mozarts Favorite and a Bavarian salad plate. Avoid the schnitzels which are a bit too dense and not breaded correctly. Other than that, the food and service are great. Highly recommended.
Cafe Mozart. We were a group of eight. We arrived about an hour earlier than our reservations and they were able to get us in. No guy at the piano, which was fine for our group. The only person not crazy about his meal was the person who ordered the ribeye steak. Not my first choice in a German restaurant. Everything else was great as well as the service.
Christmas Dinner with Mozart. We stopped in for lunch and had drinks and appetizer, which was very good. The hot coco was the real deal. We decided to make reservations for our special Christmas dinner. We requested a special table, but was told it probably would not be available due to they were booked and we were very lucky the staff squeezed us in. When we arrived the next night to candlelight atmosphere and the piano player was on the keys , with all the romance in the air one could waffle. A pleasant wait listening to the music, and low and behold our requested table.. how lucky we felt. So romantic looking out the little window as the tree lighting begun ,.. all so very lovely. The chef is WONDERFUL!!! The food OMG,, worth every cent. I for one do not care for clam chowder,.. That night Clam chowder was served but not like anything I have been served before. This was wonderful all the flavors complimenting each other with smooth with a hint of champagne,.. ohh ya, it took me this long to find a clam chowder I would order anytime. The shrimp Alfredo again spot on mate, though i had doubt when i saw red cabbage in my alfredo sauce. Each ingredient picking at my taste buds waking them up with a delightful joy. This is a must do on my list ! ! !
Great German Food. Excellent service, excellent selection, and excellent flavor! I had the traditional Wiener schnitzel with spaetzle and was transported mentally back to Germany. Christina, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. She took the opportunity to talk with our table both in her native German and of course English. The setting for the restaurant is very quaint and natural. My party of 17 people, all served within 3 minutes of each other, all liked their meals. Thanks for an authentic location and meal.
Great pfeffer steak. Wasn’t a fan of the potatoes that came with it and there was no vegetables. Overall good food and good service would definitely return.
