Rude, confrontational, unprofessional. We went in with 14 people and their policy is to have 1 check when there is a party of more than 7 and there is 18% gratuity added. I’m sorry not everyone has cash these days so it wouldn’t work out to have just one check amongst 14 people. Our waitress was visibly upset we didn’t want to all sit at one table to keep our checks seperate. We were seated across the restaurant from the rest of our party. She was rude and unfriendly the rest of the service. When we left a not with our check she confronted us and asked if we wanted to talk about it. Which we replied no, and as we were leaving she read the note and told us the policy is right there on the wall and easy to read. Hope you have a great day. We will as soon as we are out of here.
This is our go-to place for breakfast in Leavenworth…and (bonus) it is served until 2pm. I wouldn’t exactly label this place as German, but there are some good sausages; the eggs Benedict is a usual favorite. The service has always been friendly, even when going in a large group, and there is a really cool looking lounge area.
Great breakfast! Huge portions and plenty of grape jelly!
