My husband and I absolutely love this place we’ve been here several Mornings. The food is fantastic the servers are very friendly and very helpful and the prices are very reasonable especially for our small little tourist town it’s great for locals and for visitors alike!

Benson’s By The Beach. We were so happy with our meal & service. Staff & food were both very good. Breakfast was delicious.
Halibut was dry. Clams couldn’t be chewed. Chowder was gritty. Fries were soggy. The only good thing was the tarter!
Had just a few minutes to eat, but decided to avoid fast food and popped in here for a bite. My wife ordered the criss cross sandwich and I got the clucker. Both were delicious, the coffee was mild but very good, and we got the food very fast. The staff were excellent, very friendly and our waitress checked on us just enough. We had to take half our meal to go, but we are in town for one more night and will likely return for breakfast tomorrow and are looking forward to it, very highly recommended!
We are at Long Beach quite a bit, and just tried Benson’s for the first time over the 4th weekend 2011. Very favorably (and flavorably) impressed. I would rank it right up there with Laurie’s (except no obscene portions), and the bakery (subtract the hustle and bustle). Overall very pleasant, delicious, and fairly priced. I will certainly be back.
All five of us went and all of our food arrived fresh and done perfectly. The staff was great and the table games are a nice touch.
