Favorite in Long Beach. My wife and I love this restaurant. We have always had great service. We’ve never had a single problem even at the peak of summer when it’s extremely busy. We will travel from Longview just to have the deep fried calamari and a beer! It’s our personal favorite in Long Beach summer or winter. I will always recommend this restaurant.
This place doesn’t deserve this low of a score. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised after our luncheon there. We ordered the wings for appetizer; and the chicken caesar wrap, and BLT for an entre. Food was fine and service good. We will come back here and dine again next trip.
Calamari was exceptionally good with good sauce. Def will come back for just that. Cajun fish tacos were yummy too. Very attentive wait staff. Adding to my favorites.
Yes, greasy smell almost turned us away but the service was fast and our party of 5 all liked their food.
A wonderful place.. We very much enjoyed our dinner at Castaway’s tonight.I had the fish taco and chowder bowl. My husband had the seafood lasagna. All were wonderful. With only 2 waiters on duty, we did not have to wait for seating or food. We will return.
A great time in the Bar Side!. We went here in the off season and the bar side of the place was filled with mostly locals who are very friendly! The staff was great too and food was AMAZING!! We also got a free drink when the bar tender rang the bell!
Horrible service and the food was mediocre. It took 2 hours from the time we walked in the door until we could escape that horrible place. The server took forever to get us water and drinks. One of the glasses of water spilled and she didn’t even ask if it needed to be refilled. My husband and a friend ordered soup and salad with their meals and never got it, but we got charged for it! When we pointed it out to the server she fixed the error, but it took a while. I will never go back!!!!! Don’t waste your time or your money!!!!
