Great Place. Its hard to find good brisket like you can get in Texas, but this place is spot on. They have 2 large smokers in back and it is just the right combination of smoke, salt, and tender. They have lots of choices for side dishes. I like the mac n cheese, which is outstanding. Their coleslaw is flavorful and not soggy. We’ve eaten there several times and their pulled pork is also excellent. The service is always friendly and usually pretty quick but sometimes they get really busy because this place is so popular. I highly recommend you try it.
I’ve eaten here three times, the second and third time were against my better judgement. They don’t have a true smoker so there’s no true bbq smoked flavor to their meat. All three times my meat was lukewarm. The third time the meat was served on a cheap (looked like the Franz bakery outlet) hoagie roll. The sides were lacking. Thankfully I didn’t order the bland Mac and cheese. I tasted my husband’s and it was truly lacking, tasted like cafeteria Mac and cheese. The service is unprofessional. The owner must have hired his friends and/or family because none of our servers were pros. Finally, for the price, it’s not worth it. If you’ve had true bbq you will be disappointed. Best thing to go there for is the selection of beers.
Bad. Don’t bother
Delicious! Had the brisket philly sandwich–juicy and a bit spicy–yum! The mac and cheese is the best side, although the green salad is fresh and big.
Great food and great beers!. This place has quickly become my favorite place for dinner or a beer in the Longview / Kelso area. Their mac n cheese is amazing as is the pulled pork and beef brisket. Snow White complained about the beer not being cold enough. She needs to get herself educated on beers. This place serves good ales, not the Budweiser, Coors, Miller tasteless crap lagers. Ales are meant to be served near room temperature to enjoy the flavor. Lagers are served cold because they’re flavorless.
Great BBQ! Smoked wings and …. Great BBQ! Pepper jack mac-n-cheese is amazing! Waitresses have improved. The food is amazing, haven’t experienced a bad meal yet! Husband loves the Hush puppies!
