Awesome lunchstop!
Use to love this place. Moved here in mid-90’s this was great teriyaki. Now, I guess it’s a sign of the times. Lower quality meats used now. Pork is ALWAYS gristly & stringy. Beef ribs have little edible meat. Thot the first few times like that it was just a bad batch. Now it’s always the same. BAD. Last time for me!!

So good. I don’t know what they use for salad dressing, but it’s uniquely Minami, and I love it. Everything I’ve ordered there has been wonderful, the specials are great, the staff is nice, and you can call in an order for pickup or eat there. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely stop in.
FRIED MUSHROOMS!!. You have to get these if you like mushrooms, you will be addicted, you will crave them at strange hours, you will roll pennies to get them, they are fresh, large, mushrooms in a delicious tempura batter served with a dipping sauce. Thier other food is awesome too, I especially like thier little simple salad that comes with the special, the dressing is sweet and I dont like many dressings.
Best in town. Longview is a small town with a lot of choices for Asian cuisine. Minami Teriyaki is by far the best one in town. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent. You can’t go wrong with the chicken. Their fried rice is also by far the best around.
