The place is good, the best in parts of Longview where I’ve been. I make it a point to visit Porky’s at least once a week when I am there. Staff is friendly, and burgers among the best. Try their Elk and Buffalo, they are good. They have 31 beers on tap, and most of them sounded interesting. Their kids menu also looks interesting. Today I had the Buffalo burger, but I have had their Elk and Lamb as well on my earlier outings. All of them are really good. So far, I’ve been there only for lunch, eagerly waiting for a chance to check out their happy hours and dinner time.

Diamond in the Rough Dive Bar. Tucked away among the many mills and industrial area of Longview, it might not immiediately stand out to you as a place you would want to stop and try, but let me tell you that would be a mistake! Porky’s has something for everyone, and their food has always been exceptional! If you like beer, they have PLENTY of types on tap for you to choose from. If you like good food, they have the best burgers (and Buffalo burgers) in town. Their menu is much more than ‘Bar Food’ with some great salads, sandwiches, and a variety of other excellently prepared entrees you would not expect to find in most bars.If I can give you one piece of advice regarding Porky’s, it would be to go out of your way to try it at least once. It is well worth it, and we go back time and time again.
