It had great crumb, with air pockets, but not too airy. Was just the right softness. A wonderful chocolate level, though it slightly overwhelmed the crumb. The rise was sufficient to level out the size of the chocolate chunks. Perfectly soft, as the basic was. Just a tad expensive, but a very good chocolate chip cookie.
Fell in love all over again. This past weekend we made it out to Lopez again and hit up Holly B’s every day for 4 days — I am definitely on overload since then and need to exercise a bit more this week to make up for it. This time around I focused on the amazing and delicious Almond Butterhorn OMG! Perfectly fluffy, just the right amount of almond flavor, and a nice classic frosting.*note: as with most of the restaurants on the island their hours are a bit more casual in the off season and thus may be different than this posted online. It’s best to check ahead or call if you want to be certain that they are open when you are there.25 Aug, 2014Blackberry Danish. The blackberry danish included fresh local berries picked on the island. It was creamy, fruity and sweet — without being too sweet. A perfect snack after a bike ride around the island.

Yum!. No visit to Lopez is complete without a visit to Holly B’s. So many tempting bakery items it’s hard to choose just one.
Holly B’s Rocks. Been getting outrageous cinnamon rolls here while boating in the summer for almost 30 years…and it keeps on rockin!
