From the friendly wait staff to the superb food our experience far exceeded our expectations. The happy hour Cuervo Margaritas were superb. The green enchilada stack (New Mexico spiced), the personal nachos, and the red enchiladas were palate pleasing winners. Then topping off the meal were sopapillas that made us homesick for Santa Fe and Taos. The entire meal was a blissful experience and we will return.

Favorite Hot Spot!. Stumbled upon this restaurant several weeks ago, and it has been a destination for us on Sunday’s for lunch. I can’t begin to talk about the burger, the nachos, the soups, the desserts, and of course the daily specials (did I mention the chili and enchiladas?) UNBELIEVEABLE!!!! This place has the feel that we enjoy – very friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. Michelle the waitress is the best ever, very kind and attentive. Love the food and atmosphere and we plan on brining all our friends here. Definitely someplace you should check out!!!!

Went today for the first and last time. Chips and salsa. The salsa was onion Pico.Couldn’t give me anything else. Red enchiladas were nothing but a bunch of tortillas swimming in red sauce along with pinto beans also saucy. Waitress not friendly. Like a robot doing her job with no personality. Couldn’t pull the menu up online either.

Service was terrible and we where not the only disappointed patrons at this visit. The didn’t place half our order, the food was cold, and the food was fairly flavorless. To boot, the only New Mexican cuisine on the menu was 3 items. Total disappointment.

We enjoyed it, but it feels far more like a BBQ joint than a New Mexican style Mexican joint. I was disappointed by that (basically 2 enchilada dishes on the menu, and that’s the extent). However, what they do, they do very well. The brisket, pork, and sopa’s were excellent. The green enchiladas lacked the promised peppers, or felt skimpy at least. Still was tasty, but not great. The cinnamon roll was wonderful. Other breakfast dishes looked good too. In all a nice place with some well done food, but will probably not scratch your itch for authentic New Mexican style Mexican.

Very Disappointed. I was born and raised in New Mexico and the food there is unique and very yummy. New Mexico food isn’t like other food — it’s better. Where best to try it? Everywhere. Green chile stew, red chile stew, hearty bowls of posole on a cold winter day. Blue corn enchiladas are good, home made flour tortillas and carne adovada — that’s pork and red chile stew, by the way, and it’s what everybody eats. For dessert, it’s biscochitos, or buttery cookies zipped up anise and cinnamon. And, of course, puffy, fried sopapillas. Drizzled with honey. Unless you eat them for dinner, too, stuffed with beans and cheese, meat, chile – you name it. Snack time? Roasted and lightly salted pinon nuts, best purchased from a guy on the side of the road. And don’t forget the omnipresent green chile cheeseburger, perhaps the most accessible of New Mexican staples. Where to eat? You won’t get the true flavor at the New Mexican! So very disappointed! I had Huevos Rancheros – they where so bad I paid the $12′ tipped the polite waitress and left.

What an awesome experience!!! The staff was not rude at all! It was the type of place that we went in and were greeted immediately, with a smile, then throughout our meal, which was amazing, the whole restaurant was all hanging out having a conversation with everyone! Especially the staff, it was so welcoming and relaxing. We got to watch some of the cooking go on in their open kitchen as well, one of these days I will be taking notes! We will definitely be back to try everything! Yummmm!
