Came for lunch with my young son. The menu is your standard American food fare. I like simple food but this was too simple & flavorless. My son ordered from the kids menu & his chicken burger came with a tiny piece of chicken and a bun! No sauce or condiments. I ordered a pasta dish & it was blander than the food served at a seniors home. My bill came to about $25 with tip- so not worth it. The waiter was nice & food was quick to arrive (mind you, the place looked deserted). Overall, I would def not return.

Applebee’s = mean onion rings. Unlike every onion ring I have had in my life in which a bite of the ring essentially means consumption of the entire onion within the batterred ring, the Applebee’s onion ring stays amazingly intact. Each bite into one of these wonderful fried treats left a perfectly proportionate amount of onion and batter remaining without having to stuff the entire thing down my mouth, a quality in an onion ring that I otherwise would not have been aware of until now.Perhaps the oil in which the ring is cooked is hot enough to soften the onions up, or maybe the onions are cooked first before going into its shower of flour. Either way, whatever method Applebee’s employs to create this magic makes the Applebee’s onion ring the best onion ring I have ever had. A nice little surprise for suburban chain restaurant in Lynnwood that also has $2 domestic drafts during happy hour.
