The most NASTIEST place I’ve ever been at!! The plates were all dirty with food still stuck on it! The food was somewhat alright! But the deserts were hard melted and gross!! I was sickened with what I saw, food stuck on the lights, food on plates and cups, food on the walls!! The bathrooms are a joke!! The bathrooms are disgusting, it looked like they didn’t clean the bathroom since 1981, the price on getting in was a good deal but it’s not worth the gross a** eating environment!!

I liked it but my old lady didn’t touch a thing , she hated it but I loved it , we don’t have many buffet s up here in Vancouver so it was a treat for me , she called it slop on a plate , I called it good value for money ,
Coupon Update. I just visited OCB today and they have updated their buffet-club coupon policy. Now the coupon is only valid for DINNER buffets (BOGO free), but you must purchase 2 drinks in order to get the second buffet free. (Each drink is $1.99) so effectively dinner for two is $9.99 + $1.99 + $1.99. Still cheap but not as cheap as before.01 Feb, 2010Value value value. I like Old Country Buffet despite its kinda negative/trashy reputation. For the price/variety/quantity, it’s awesome. I usually go for the M-F lunchtime soup & salad for $4.99. I don’t know of anywhere else I could get a meal including drink for that price. Their salads are really fresh and they offer quality produce like spring mix, spinach and broccoli. The creamy tomato soup is absolutely amazing but they don’t always have it. The desserts are either bland, boring or way too sweet. I’d stick to their entrees/salads.
All about choices…. It’s all about the choices your make, like most buffets.As a rule of thumb, if the food (especially meats) has been sitting there for a while, wait for another batch.
