The quantity and quality that this place gives is great. I have been going here for quite a while now. Definitely would not recommend to go alone because of the amount of food that comes. I am always stuffed after eating here but also very happy over the tastiness of the food!
Love this Place. Ive been to all the ethiopian places on the block and Meskel is at the top of the list. they care about you, they give you plenty in a portion, and ive not yet had a dish i didnt like from them. if you want to try Ethiopian for the first time, head here.
I have been to most of the ethiopian spots in Seattle and find this one in particular the best! I found it most comforting in terms of cleanliness and taste. And the owner is the sweetest lady!! I don’t think that I’ll go anywhere else! I just love them!
Good solid Ethiopian restaurant, not quite as good as Blue Nile
Our Go-To for Ethiopian. Definitely the most consistent place for Ethiopian in this area. Nice vegetable platter, though the meat platters can be a touch oily. The deck seating is a huge plus in the summer.
What we order…. 1 veg combo1 lamb tibs2 gin and tonicsone extra glass of tonic(the drinks are that strong). We go here at least a few times a month and leave with full bellies and only barely lighter pocketbooks. (What the hell is a pocketbook?)
