This spot is great: good beer, delicious grub, and a relaxed atmosphere with a patio. The burgers are some of the best in the city and even the salads are great. Pickled eggs on the bar and a magician on Tuesdays, this spot is one of my favorites in the city!

Pros and Cons. Pros- the curried carrot ginger soup yum!!!Cons. the roasted beets in the roasted beet salad not roasted i’d guess fresh out of the can……
4 star dining in a 2 star restaraunt Er… actually it’s more of a tavern or pub than it I a restaurant. There’s a jar of pickled eggs on the bar, velvet oil paintings of wooden boats on the wall, and cushy black vinyl and chrome stools. There’s also a pretty decent back bar complete with a high-end selections of bourbons. A great place to settle in with a grind or two fo a drink. The beers on tap will most likely include several you’ve never heard of or tried. But enough about the bar. It’s the food that will bring me back. Jalepeo and cheese stuffed deep fried ravioli, incredible, juicy meatloaf, and a just right buffalo chicken sandwich. The choice of sides for the sammies is well thought out as well because one of them is mashed potatoes and gravy. Where else can you get a meatloaf sandwich with mashers on the side? I am looking forward to going back to try some new beers an more of their menu.
Great Atmosphere. Very nice day, just hanging out in the backyard with a PBR and their meatloaf sandwich, maybe playing a game of ping-pong.
Great place. Really good (and cheap) food. Can be a bit too hipster-post grunge for my approaching middle aged preppiness, but who notices 🙂
Great drinks better food. Great atmosphere and a killer outdoor patio complete with ping-pong table–Awesome!!. Alas, the patio is only open until 9pm. Still the best hang -out pub in the Central District. The Food is well above par for bar food. The bacon wrapped pork tenderloin is to die for. Plus…Shuffleboard!!! I had a great time at The Twilight.
