Nice atmosphere. This bar has been through a lot of different management and face lifts in the past but I would like to think that HD’s will be here to stay! We visited this place before it was HD’s, and it was Emil’s. Emil’s had great food but really shoddy service (unprofessional and lacking). HD’s is the opposite – the bartender was a nice lady who we knew from another local establishment. She made sure we had our beers quickly and made the most delicious tray of nachos for us!Being a quiet weekday, we didn’t expect there to be a crowd but I could see this place be hopping on the weekends when they have live music. The only downside is that they only serve beer (no hard alcohol) and their menu is limited to only a few bar food type items.
Hds has been closed and in termoil due to poor ownership for several years. But do not feer, it has now been turned around. It is under new ounership by those in the community that actually care. It just had its official grand opening last night, and they kicked it off with a bang. Good food, good venue, great pricing and great people all contributed to the place being filled to capacity with no problem. For the opening they hosted several bands and there are plans of having a weekly band on saturday nights. This pub is definetlythe new happening spot for those of drinking age in belfair.
