My wife and I had dinner tonight here. The food was VERY GOOD. The server was good. The speed at which our food arrived was VERY SLOW, took 30 minutes from when we ordered. My wife had the chicken entree, I had the pork chop entree – again both were very good. Perfectly cooked and large portions. We started with the antipasti plate, it was very good too. Other than how slow they were the only real complaint is the menu is very limited of choices.This was our second time there, the first time we had lunch and left a little neutral/disappointed. This time for dinner we again a little neutral but not disappointed. We will probably try again but were hoping the cooks can get their act together and get meals out of the kitchen faster.The price was possibly a little high for Belfair, but for the quality and recipe we had I thought the price was OK.
Breakfast at Uion River Grill, today!. They were very busy today. That was a good thing for them? Not so good foe me. I order 3 eggs over medium, sausage, hashbrowns & an English Muffin, I asked for and never received ketchup. Everything else looked great. I love hasbrowns, especially crisp, but mine and my wifes were mushy and tasted like they had been soaked in dish water. The worst HB’s I’ve ever had were not as bad as these. I did, however, take a couple of bites. I have regreted it the rest of the afternoon. For me dining there again will not happen. That is sad!
Slow cocktail service and very greasy fish and chips. Server took our drink order right away, but drinks arrived 20-25 minutes later. Fish & chips, the daily special today, was very, greasy and the fish was overcooked. Many patrons seemed to wait a long time for food. We actually walked into the bar to order drinks and we’re told it would be 20 minutes to get a drink. Server had to be asked to remove dirty plates and glasses. (No table bussers).As a local, I really want this place to be a success; there are few good local restaurants. At this rate, I’ll predict 6 months before they go under.
Terrible service. We had a party of ten, ordered drinks, it took over 20 mins to get our drinks, the busers never cleared the table, they didn’t refill my water, they forgot one of our party’s meal, the special was fish and chips and the fish was so over cooked it was like fish jerky. Very disappointed.
