I went in for dinner and ordered the New York steak, medium rare, more rare was okay. When I received my steak I cut into it and it was medium well, but this was the very outer edge and I had hope that the next cut would have some color. That didn’t happen so I decided to not finish the steak and ate the potatoes and vegetables instead. When the waitress came by I told her that my steak was not medium rare. She offered to have another steak made up, but I didn’t want that much food and it didn’t make sense that I take home steak only to have to re-heat it in a pan and have it right back at medium well!! When the bill came she told me that she took off 15% off my plate. I hardly think that potatoes, vegetables and a partial steak are worth $21.25 . I should have paid $3.75. This is the Pacific Northwest, organic produce is everywhere, there’s no need to be that proud of produce.
