Cozy, friendly and YUMMY food!. Great Day Cafe in Ocean Park was a great place to have a most enjoyable lunch! Yummy food and the friendly owner and chef made us feel right at home. We can hardly wait to go back. Steve’s clam chowder is the BEST! And I’ve never had a BLT that also included 2 kinds of cheese. Biting into the grilled sour dough was quite a taste treat. Go any time you have the opportunity! You’ll be glad you did!
Simply a must when you are on the Long Beach Peninsula. A little off the beaten path, but well worth it. Sandwiches are unique and spectacular. The homemade clam chowder is amazing! Seating is close quarters, so be aware if bringing small children (we have a 9 month old). Overall, it was a great meal out. For the perfect breakfast/lunch combination, stay at the Charles Nelson Guesthouse (b&b) for breakfast, then head over to Great Day Cafe for lunch! You won’t regret it!
Unique and Delicious!. I just love their Way South Salad! I could eat that every single day because it tastes so darn good! Steve’s soups are made from scratch and you can taste the difference. Everytime I have a cup, I enjoy it in utter bliss. If we lived closer, we would be regulars. We always make sure to eat lunch there when we come to Long Beach. I highly recommend this cafe to everyone. I’m sure you will love the food AND Steve and Shelly!

Steve and Shelly took over this small run down food/coffee shack and transformed into a Great little Cafe! They did all the work themselves with the help of family members. Remodeling in interior to expand into a storage area converting it into a small dinning area with a great view of the 9th hole of the golf club next door. Steve has been a Sheff all his life. His spin on typical lunches kicks them up into awesomeness! Whenever you are in the Long Beach WA area don’t pass up on a GREAT LUNCH at Great Day Cafe!
