Disregard the haters.. Best Sushi in town. Less expensive than comparable restaurants on the Island. The sushi is the best on this rock. Sorry, but whomever says otherwise has ZERO taste buds or concept of value. Also, the service is absolutely awesome.
Too high priced for the fast-food atmosphere. Lousy soup, didnt like the tempura, nothing to write home about.15 Feb, 2011Too high priced for the fast-food atmosphere lousy soup, nothing to write home about.
Ordered several nigiri sushi dishes and the chef comped us a sashimi platter. It was a really nice gesture and the food was great.
Best Sushi Restaurant in Oak Harbor. I’m from Japan.there is other Japanese Restaurant in Oak Harbor, but I only go to this place to eat sushi or korean food in here.Nigiri Sushi, there isn’t many of choise and little bit tiny size with pricy but Sushi roll is delicious with good size and price. korean BBQ and sun tofu soup….mmmm I love it! I love really spicy food and my favorite is tarminater roll with sun tofu. I don’t recoomand these if you can’t eat any spicy food. only the things that I don’t like things is green tea have not right temperture and not enough tea pack with big pot.
The one thing I miss. I lived in Oak Harbor for three years, and this is the one place I miss. I haven’t had good the barbeque beef is sooooo good.
Good food! NOT so good 10/2010. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and the food is great. I like the combo chicken and bulgogi beef teriyaki but I see a lot of people eating sushi here. (i’m just not a sushi eater.) The owners are very nice. This restaurant has been here for about ten years or more.I went there with my cross country team (there were six of us) to celebrate on 10/30 and we got terrible, bad service. No water refills, $6 for one small pot of tea (used to be free), some food served 40 minutes after everyone else got their food and bad attitude from waitress and owner about the whole thing. I wonder if it was because we were teenagers, because everyone else seemed to get good service.
Love the sushi!!. My favorite here is the specialty sushi and the chicken friend rice. Not all dishes are pricey but the specialty sushi will run you $15+ but is worth it! It comes with a choice of soups (all good) and a large sushi roll. I’ve never walked away hungry.
