We were returning from a hike on the bluff trail and I spotted this restaurant/brewery so we decided to have a couple of adult beverages. The restaurant was busy for dinner so we settled in at the bar and discovered it was happy hour. Talk about serendipity! My wife ordered a pint of Heat Seeker Hefe while I showed my wings by choosing an After Burner IPA. Mine had a bitter aftertaste so on the second round I became a heat seeker which was lighter and more refreshing. Our bartender was exceptionally knowledgeable about the brews.
The food here is mediocre at best, and the service is even worse than that. We have tried eating here several times and the food has always failed to impress, the service is always poor unless you are a group of young men who the servers feel they can flirt a tip out of. To top it all off, the atmosphere is always loud and uninviting and the beer isn’t even good.
