Frasers is an island paradise. My wife and I eat a lot of business meals in high end restaurants, so we have a pretty critical eye. Frasers easily ranked in the top 5 for the year. Frasers is a gem on the island. White linen tables yet breezy and casual ambiance makes it appealing to everyone from business people in suits to young families to couples on a date. Appetizers were $10-20. Entrees were around $28, with a few jumping up to $39. The service was excellent and notably team oriented. 6 different people visited our table multiple times during a 90 minute dinner, so there was never a moment where we felt unattended. The food was exquisite. A nice Pinot Gris and sparkling Voss water to drink. Brie-garlic cheese fondue with vegetables, bread and fruit to start the meal. It was delicious, but beware how filling it is. If you order it for just two people, skip the salads and soups and likely dessert. My wife had the braised beef short ribs, served over root vegetable French fries and loved it. The meat was tender, juicy, and rich with flavor. Portion was impressive but not excessive. I had the Waygu duo, with both New York strip and braised chuck with dueling sauces. I expected the NY Strip to be the clear winner, but the slow cooked chuck roast was so tender it clearly won the dual. Three different sauces garnished the plate, all delicious and none overpowered the flavor of the meat. The grilled asparagus was also done just right, a trick many restaurant fail to do. We wish we had space left for dessert, because the puff pastry filled with salted caramel ice cream looked divine. We will be coming back every time we are in Oak Harbor!

Came here for my birthday, food was excellent and the ambiance was not too stuffy. They are actually kid friendly as well, my 2 year old loved her spaghetti and meatballs

Lovely dinner spot. This is Truely a fine restaurant ! I took my daughter and family which included two three year olds! The service was wonderful and they helped us enjoy dinner AND keep the children happy as well. The beef tenderloin was perfect and the chocolate desert with the avocado ice cream was to die for. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening!

Wonderful food and great experience every time. My husband and I have gone to Frasers three times now and have enjoyed it every time. We love trying new things and have gotten something different each time. The Kobe steak special has got to be one of the best steaks my husband has ever had. The squash blossoms were a treat to try as well as the poutine fries. The wait staff are very attentive without interfering with the experience. Sat at the bar last time and watched our food being prepared and were able to talk to Chef Fraser. Defiantly something you must try once if you are a foodie but get a reservation.

Loved it!. My husband took me there for the first time last night for my 26th birthday. We both loved it! The food, service and ambience were great. The bathrooms were immaculate. I graduated culinary arts school a few years back and my husband has complained in the past that I have very high standards when it comes to restaurants. This place met them. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because The Melting Pot still holds the number one spot in my heart as the perfect dining experience. This was a close second.
