You may find more authentic Greek food in Greece, but what you will not find is more wonderfully aromatic, spectacularly flavorful, beautifully presented meals than those that are graciously served at Zorbas. Each dish redefined excellence. The decor was not especially exotic or ethnic. Its standard family dining, well lit, clean, polished, simple appearance was deceptive. Did nothing to prepare you for what you are about to experience. Our Server Dallas was sweet charming enthusiastic and informative. Invisible until wanted, she anticipated our every need and appeared at just the right moment. Periodically I noticed the owner, whom I believe is the chef discreetly in the background checking how his food was being received and how his guest were doing. The entire time there, we felt like, welcome guests, not customers. We enjoy dining out, a break from the daily ritual of eating to nourish our bodies. A time to relax enjoy our best friends company, focus on what is most important. We talk and laugh about everything and nothing. That did not happen here. We hardly spoke at all. Zorbas is aptly named. The food makes your palette dance, celebrating as layers upon layers of flavors reveal themselves like notes of music to create a fantastic song. The food took all of our attention completely absorbed savoring each note. Zorbas does not just serve good food at a reasonable price. They provide a service, that in a small way makes the world a little better place by bringing some joy to those fortunate enough to walk through their simple unpretentious doors. With plenty left over to take home. What we ate.The lightly breaded ring Kalimari dissolved into Kalimari deliciousness, not one piece was remotely chewy or had the slightest hint of greasiness. From the first bite to the last Zorbas Kalimari becomes the definition of perfectly prepared Kalimari. Served with Zorbas refreshing Tzatziki. The Pita was fresh warm fluffy, not the usual flat chewy affair. The Humous Dip had an nutty wholesome flavor followed by a subtle spiciness .The Kota Ala Crema. Following a burst of flavor, the chicken tasting as if it was grilled over a wood fire steps up front followed by the rich silky smooth garlic sauce with its hint of lemon and spice. Over a blend of artichokes (without the vinegary taste indicative of canned artichokes), sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms, each taking its turn.Like the other Zorbas dishes we enjoyed, the first bite of Moussaka is a explosion of flavor followed by more flavors that revealed themselves, one by one. First the the bchamel cream that topped a good third of the serving steps up front lucious almost custard like with a faint undertone of nutmeg, followed by exotic unique to me spiced beef, ending with the simple earthiness of the eggplant zucchini and potato.Save room for Zorbas Tiramisu. Unlike the decidedly one dimensional affair of Mascarpone and whipped cream cake, often absent any coffee/espresso flavor, many of us are most accustomed to. Zorbas Tiramisu is more like what I remember growing up in Italy, an intense bitter espresso flavor from the espresso / coffee liqueur saturated lady fingers that is offset & sweetened by the Mascarpone cream cheese and heavy whipped cream. Creating a balance of bitter, sweet creamy flavors and textures.

So rude!. Not sure if the waitress had a bad day or something else, but she was very short with us and every question we asked her was returned in an unpleasant way. Food was way just ok, but overpriced. I came in with an appetite, but lost it pretty quickly. Would not recommend.

Loved it. First, the atmosphere was so-so at best and they could definitely use a makeover. Second, the food didn’t look like much as far as presentation goes. Now on to the good stuff. Service was top notch! The waiter kept checking on us every couple minutes and we never had a glass less then half empty. The food was AMAZING!!! Everything we ordered from apps to dessert was flat out awesome! I give it a 8/10 overall but could easily be a ten with a little paint and body work. Would not hesitate to go back and will be recommending. Price is good for what you get.
