We ordered several pies to celebrate a birthday in the office. The Cherry, topped with stars, instead of a traditional lattice, was hands down the prettiest. It was also the birthday boy’s favorite. Overall, the Marionberry-Hazelnut was enjoyed the most. The flavor was perfect. The crust was perfect. It was a perfect pie. Our final pie was the Peach. It was lovely, but the other two were superb.
Hands down the best pie shop in Seattle. Great little cafe with lots of pie flavors to choose from. Haven’t tasted anything that wasn’t good but some of my favorites are French apple, sour cherry, smores, and hazelnut marionberry. They also have Bluebird ice cream to eat with your pie as well as all kinds of coffee drinks. They also have a super friendly staff.PS… they offer a pie making class in their kitchen and it is awesome!!
Do one thing well. If you’re on the hook for dessert at a dinner party, swing by a grab a whole pie from these guys. If you need something to satisfy your sweet tooth, every flavour pie is delicious – $5 goes a long way in terms of the size of the pies – if you like crust, get the minis; if you like filling, just get 2 slices. Roll in just before close for even heftier portions.
Best Coconut Custard Pie. This is the best coconut custard pie I have ever had-hands down. Dahlia Bakery should take a lesson. Nice sized slices and friendly staff. Next time I will give something else a try but I must admit they all looked delicious so the choice will not be easy. Thank you for this little slice of heaven right here in Seattle.
Very good. Mexican chocolate is a bit spicy. Marionberry-hazelnut, very good.
Grandma would be Proud!. These guys are making delicious pie! Just picked up one of their apple pies and it is truely one of the best pies I’ve had. Apple pie is such a classic yet there are alot of mediocre pies out there.. A La Mode’s is devine, Crust is perfect and and the apples are top notch. Looking forward to other hits and I imagine it won’t be long before Bobby Flay is knocking on the door challenging them to a pie throwdown.
