Won’t go back. A friend and I met there on a Saturday night and it was farily dead. The wine list consists mainly of U.S. wines; some people might appreciate that but I thought it was limited. We ordered the tapenade appetizer, which was disappointing. The presentation was minimal, and the bread, which is not local tasted oddly of blueblerry waffles (perhaps they had shared the toaster?). Service was friendly but this place is so average and uninspired that it left me flat.

Quaint Wine Bar. Definitely a hidden gem, while still rough around the edges in parts it was a nice find and we’ve been back a few times. The wine is solid and not overpriced like other bars. The food is pretty tasty. When the place is packed, the service starts to slow but that’s expected. Great place to people watch and enjoy a bottle of vino.

Great place!. I have been to In the Red a couple of times in the last month. The atmosphere is great and the food is awesome. Their concept is to have very reasonably priced but delicious food and wines. My only complaint is that the back corner is a little too dim, but that’s not too big a deal.I am on my way back right now!

I’ll try it again after they’ve worked some things out.. I went to In The Red about 2 weeks after opening with 3 other friends. It took 30 minutes for us to get the bottle of wine we ordered and in general service was slow. Granted, the place was fairly full and it seemed there were 2 people working the room and also a bartender. They were out of several things on the menu by 7pm. The decor of the place leaves something to be desired. The menu is adequate I think as long as they are not out of anything. The food is pretty good and the prices aren’t too bad. I did have to chase the waitress around to pay the bill though. I’ll give it another shot in a few more months.

Just opened, so menu still needs work. Good start though. May work out fine, let’s hope.
