Not to miss!. We were actually going to a different restaurant but the wait was way too long so we settled for Tangerine. But in no way did we settle, the food was spot on! The soup was a wonderful treat on a cold Saturday night. If you are brave enough go for the max spice, you’ll be sipping that soup slowly just to let your taste buds cool down. Pad Thai was very good, spicy and tangy with a hint of sweet peanut butter. We will definitely be back!

Good Food at a Good Price. This little gem on Phinney Ridge has great food, good service, and very reasonable prices. The Pad Thai with pork and Pad Prik Khing with tofu were delicious. The only disappointment was the fried bananas with honey for dessert: I wouldn’t recommend them. Tangerine is not large–three booths and a handful of tables–so we headed for the booth furthest from the door and closest to the kitchen. It turns out that was a mistake. Tangerine, understandably, has a very brisk take-out business. Having people hovering around our table conversing while awaiting their take-out was more than a bit intrusive. I’d suggest sitting elsewhere.

Authentic Thai. Tangerine really brought me back to Thailand. The dishes are perfectly prepared, with just the right amount of spices and oils, not too heavy or greasy at all. Portions are good, and prices are right. The Thai iced tea is the best i’ve found in Seattle. Love, Love, Love Tangerine!

You don’t know what you’re missing. My friend and I wanted to try a new Thai place and struck gold with The Tangerine! I cannot understand how no one else was in this restaurant as the ambiance is superb, service is stellar, food is fresh and delicious and the price is right.I usually order Pad Thai or Pad See Ew, but the waiter convinced me to try the Pad Khi Mao, which is very similar to Pad See Ew but it has basil and red bell peppers. I could taste the fresh garlic, basil and peppers, and the flavors were even more pronounced for my leftovers at lunch. My friend had the Pad Kai Himaphan, which was basically garlic cashew chicken with brown rice on the side. It was terrific! We ended the evening with the mango sticky rice, which was sweet and delicious. The Tangerine also has a small but great selection of local brews, including Manny’s and Mac and Jack’s.They offer free delivery and accept credit cards as well.

We’ve lived in the area for a few years and just found Tangerine Thai. I’m so glad we did because not only is it fociod price but it’s the best thai food in all of phinney ridge or greenwood! The phad kee mao was excellent with large pieces of fresh veggies and the noodles tasted wonderful. This is our new favorite place and with free delivery right now it’s going to be hard not to order from them every week!
