Horrible service, horrible food, horrible environment. Garbage was piled up in the back area visible to customers, my food cane out cold while my young kids came out streaming hot. The waitress could not have cared less.
I typically do not write reviews for restaurants-good ones, bad ones, etc, but I had such a bad experience with Buttered Biscuit Too that I had to share. My wife and I decided to do a order for pick up and when my wife got the food home my Club sandwich was so mangled that it looked like a sandwich salad had been through into a to-go container on top of the stale and tasteless fries, not to mention that everything felt extremely slimy. I will never return to this restaurant or its sister restaurant in Sumner. I will be posting this same review on every review forum for BB TOO that I can locate. I cant give it a 0 so I had to rate 1 start which is generous.
This place looks like a battered down bar from the outside. I came at 10:30am on a Monday and there was only one employee in the dining room trying to handle all customers. They have half working Christmas lights around all the ledges and windows, might I add that it’s June. They have random items like a lunch pail, pic of dogs and houses and beaches spread throughout the walls. My food was ordered rather quickly and coffee brought out in a coffee stained Merry Christmas snowman cup. Again, this is June. Took 16 min to get my food. Biscuits were cooked well, as well as the bacon and hash browns. Bacon was perfectly chewy and gravy was decent. Not what I was expecting for a signature dish, however. Don’t get me wrong, it was okay with a decent lasting flavor, but not a huge fan. The waitress did do me a favor by mentioning the special which was a half order for $5 less, which I didn’t even eat all of. Overall, they clearly go for the grandmas kitchen theme and do an okay job at it. They were definitely understaffed and still did an okay job of making me feel taken care of. I didn’t have to ask for the bill, as she brought it out as I was finishing my food. Food was just mediocre, but I’ve had worse. If you’re in the area and need a decent breakfast, you could do worse.
The food was great. The owner, Tami, is very kind to all of her customers. She is likely to remember your name and maybe even the conversation you had with her on your last visit. If you tell her about your daughter getting a promotion at work, there’s a good chance Tami will ask you about her on your next visit. Very attentive crew. A+++
Always fantastic food, and even more fantastic service and atmosphere! Owner is beyond amazing and actually takes time to talk and remember her customers. One meal is enough to feed 2 to 4 people depending on what you get. Their pastas are amazing as they actually make the sauces and you don’t receive a commercial sauce like you do at other restaurants. If there’s something that isn’t quite on the menu, but they’re able to accommodate you; they will! I recommend this place to EVERYONE!!! You get a crazy amount of wonderful food, for a dang good price!!!
Amazing food , great service, Ricky was our server. Huge and I mean huge portions, the cornbread is the best ever. Took home enough for another couple meals. Worth the drive to come to the Bonney lake location, sumner was packed and slow. Got right in here and served immediately. Owner was there, apologized for the slowness of the other location , and sent us home with a complimentary cinnamon roll that was fresh out of the oven and huge, thankyou again. We will be back.
