I’m from the South so I’m used to eating really good BBQ on a regular. This place felt comfy and I loved the homey styled service and picnic like layout inside. Where I’m from that’s the norm, and they even have sweet tea! Hard to find out here in my experience… The food is awesome too! I came for lunch and ordered the 2 plate BBQ meal that had pulled pork, chopped brisket and 2 sides. The portions are good sized and filling and the sweet cornbread is super yummy too! I would drive out just for that alone… Free mini ice cream cones after your meal is a plus as well. The spicy BBQ sauce is delicious and just enough spicy to not override the BBQ flavor and taste. Meat was cooked well and not dry at all! I’m definitely coming back to try out the the ribs!
If you go to t his place after 3, your food is going to be stale as ****. None of it is the kind of BBQ you’d actually expect at the odd prices they have. The meat was tough, dry, and had the texture of something left to sit under a heat lamp for a good few hours. My ribs were actually .. solid.. each end of the ribs was a little like chewing on a plastic spoon. Not something I would recommend. It’s sad because at least the staff is pretty friendly.

I have had the breakfast, ribs, chopped brisket and the pulled pork and all were really good. The BBQ sauce is made in house and is super delicious. The people are also very friendly and remember their customers.
