Eggs Benedict and home fries are amazing. I could legitimately put their hollandaise sauce on everything. Pancakes taste way better than ordinary pancakes. Every time my husband and I are in Puyallup, that’s our pick for breakfast.

Bad Bad Bad. Will never go there again. Obviously NOT homemade. You can tell everything is from a mix or box. The pancakes are tasteless and were thin like the batter was to watery. The worst was the omlettes. The meat inside was burnt. Bacon over cooked and sausage with a black crust. The outside of the egg was over cooked and the inside was runny. The cheese didn’t really melt. It looks like they are cooked it in somekind of mold and it comes out like an egg calzone. Very odd. Kind of bitchy service and way over priced. The seating is very uncomfortable as well. Hard wood chairs and only 3 booths in the whole place.

They just seem to get slower and slower and the food gets smaller and the prices keep going up this is my last time wasting my money here I will just have to wait untill I visit the Yhe one Portland

I didn’t think it was possible to screw up breakfast since it is the easiest meal to cook until I ate here. The pancakesz tasted like mold. The biscuits weren’t cooked and the gravy tasted like it came straight out of a can. Will never eat there again.

The hash tastes like raw onions, the hash browns tastes like burnt cheese. The pancakes were ok, but not worth the price, the wait, or the hype.

A waste of money and time. The pancakes are really ok. The corned beef hash is trash. I agree with another commenter, my dishes and utensils were dirty as well. The service was below acceptable for so many people standing around. The wait was 30+ minutes and both kids were starting to lose it, instead of offering some crayons or something, the Manager just kept chatting. And the price was far too much to be justified ($20+ tip for me)……. It’s Breakfast people! If you can’t cook from scratch then you should go to Jason’s in Puyallup, or the Thunderbird off of Waller, or Little Park off of Pacific. My point… Don’t eat here, there are so many ma’ and pa’ places around that have been serving up awesome breakfast’s longer than the strip mall the OHP is in has been around. I can’t belive anybody wrote a decent review on this place @ all. Must be the boxed dinner yuppies that have been moving out here.

Love to eat out. Thrilled to have OPH in Puyallup! Go there at least once a week. Best to go weekday mornings. This place is like all Original Pancake Houses on the weekends. 15-30 minute wait to be seated, but more than well worth the wait. Try an omelette, and if you are vegetarian, the veg omelette is the best I’ve had anywhere. The wait for food is a little longer than most places, but it is because of the way it is prepared. Be patient, and you will have one of the best breakfast experiences you’ve ever had. Puyallup/SouthHill finally has a GREAT breakfast option.13 Oct, 2009Breakfast lover. Well, this just might be the best breakfast food on the planet! Been to alot of places, but this one stands out among the best. Got an apple pancake. Never in my life have my taste buds exploded like this. Don’t know if I’ll ever be able to try something else because it was sooooo good! Efficient service. My coffee was kept warm and full. The owner came to our table and introduced himself. Very nice young man. Be prepared to wait to be seated. Apparently this has become a very popular breakfast restaurant in Puyallup. It is very well worth the wait.
