A lovely steakhouse, but service can definitely be frustrating and slow because this place is popular and busy. I also often have problems with the staff understanding that I do not eat meat or seafood and do not want the chef to creatively toss prawns on my plate.
I have eaten at the Samurai 3 times and every time has been excellent. I always order seafood and I can tell instantly if a chef has a clue when I take the first bite. It is always easy to overcook and it has always been spectacular.
Worst Food and Sevice Ever. Worst service I have ever had. I have never not left a tip, tonight I had to do just that. Not only didn’t they deserve a tip they shouldn’t have charged me for my meal it was that bad. I have been to several of these kinds of places and the food was the worst I have had. The Waitress didn’t know what dressing was on the salad, she said they don’t have a ginger sauce, they do. The chef knew it was my GF’s birthday and he did and crappy and rushed show. The second the chef left, the waitress shoved dessert and boxes in our face as if to say get out of our restaurant. They didn’t know there own menu, charged us incorrectly. When we asked for the manager he apologized and then did nothing to make the situation better (didn’t reduce the price, just gave me a bill that wasn’t worth it. I asked for the owner to call and they didn’t. I would never recommend this place and it should go out of business what they did was theft.
Great show, gross food. Amazing chefs preform as you wait for your meal but everything tastes like soy sauce.
Came here tonight! My husband and I have been to several Japanese steak houses all across the country ranging from fine dining to dives. This is by far the best tasting food, portions are more than generous and I cannot leave out our chef/cook/entertainer, Anthony!! If you dine here, make a reservation with him, you will not be disappointed!
Great entertainment and food. This place has excellent food and the chefs are very talented. Fun place to celebrate or take your kids for interactive dining experience.
Loved It!. This was our 17th year at a Japanese Steakhouse for the family Easter dinner and the best we’ve had since the 1st time. Service was prompt & with a smile even with 20 people & a number of children. The chefs put on a great show & the food was very good. The prices were great – ranging from $14 to $46 – a couple dollars more than some other places, but less than some also. Once inside the restaurant the atmosphere was great and without the crowding of some other hibachi-style places. We’ll definitely be going back next year & probably be having several more meals there before then. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from all of us!
