Best yakisoba in town! The kitchen staff take their time to expertly prepare your meal, so be prepared to wait a bit whether you dine-in or get take away.
Couldn’t say a single bad thing about the restaurant, the environment, the staff (the owner is the sweetest lady and works very hard, side-by-side with her staff!) and the food is the best in town. The sushi chef is hands down the best around. Customer for life!
Whatever you do…PAY CASH. I used to be a repeat customer, and then one day, I got charged twice on my card. I printed my bank statement and showed the lady at the counter, she said she was not the owner, and she would take my number & have the owner call me. NOT ONE PERSON EVER CALLED ME. That was about 6 months ago.I have made many attempts to get my money back let alone talk to the owner. It has been so long that today I went in and asked for the owner, now, the same older lady was there…and a younger lady was there. Neither of them were the owners, now when I was a regular, I know she was the one who was the owners. Never again will I walk into this establishment. Today out of all those people, NO ONE WAS THERE TODAY. Even the sushi guy walked in the back….My card was charged $25.83 twice – it’s not the amount, but principal!Burns me inside to know they do this to people.05 Mar, 2014Whatever you do…PAY CASH. Amazing!. After reading several great reviews, we decided to check this place out ourselves. It did not disappoint. The food and service were outstanding. Portions were big and prices were fair and the most reasonable we have seen so far for this par of food. The Avocado Bomb was probably the best bite of sushi we have ever had. So delicious and unlike anything we’ve ever had before! The free ice cream and punch card were a pleasant surprise to our great experience. We can’t wait to go back!
Fresh and Delicious. We have eaten at many sushi restaurants in Seattle, WA, Los Angelas, CA and even in Japan… and Umai Bento is equal in quality to those restaurants but at nearly half the price! The salmon in our Spanaway Roll was tender and flavorful. All of the sushi we had was fresh, and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and fast. The sushi chef came to our table and chatted awhile. We will definitely go back to Umai Bento!
AMAZING! Amazing sushi and Chinese. The green tea ice cream is to die for. Second day in a row I’ve eaten there.
