Such a fun retro diner experience. When was the last time you saw French Dip or (AND!) Monte Cristo on a menu? Both were absolutely delicious, as were the French fries, salmon sandwich, and -of course- the cherry pie. Friendly service and a great view of the ferries coming and going. Definitely recommend for a casual family meal.

This place was amazing! The owner came out and spoke with us and was as kind as could be (he and my husband are both from Oklahoma and talked about their Navy service). The food was also excellent. We had the cod and chips, crispy cornmeal batter and the flakiest fish without having an overpowering fishy flavor. The pie was also divine we tried the Dutch apple and Marion berry. Overall the service was great the food was great and I don’t understand how it doesn’t have a 100% rating. We will be back soon!

Great View, great food. Loved the waterside view. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Chowder was above average and my seafood was tasty and fresh. Lots of fresh delicious homemade pies. It’s worth going just for the view!

I have eaten here several different times and each time the food has been good and the service has been fair. The view and the food make this a decent place to eat. Basic menu items. Nothing special.

Excellent. We are visiting Port Townsend and have eaten here the past two nights. The first night the reason we stopped in was because they had a Monte Cristo sandwich – my husband’s favorite. He ordered it and said it was the best one he’s ever had. He also had the turkey noodle soup and declared it to be perfect. We went back tonight and he had the patty melt and declared it to be wonderful. Both nights I had the Chef’s Salad – the 1/2 portion. The salad was huge and absolutely delicious. What a treat to see real roast beef and not processed on it! Both nights I brought enough back I could have easily had a second salad. Our next time in Port Townsend we will be back.

We love it!. We go there often. The food is good..especially the chicken fried steak. Personal interaction with the chef. We are always pleased. One of the nicest things is that the food is consistent. As locals, we appreciate that.
