We ate here cause it seemed like the only place open. The owners barely said a word to us mostly just grunted. Practically threw menus at us and never as much as smiled. Asked if they had PB for my daughters toast he said no as fast as he could and just walked away. Food was edible but lack luster and not a great value. Very bland. And a little small. Not once checked on us or anyone in the restaurant.Kitchen is visible and dirty no sure how this place is open and still in business.
Waiting for a ferry that was going to be late, and wanted to find something to eat and pass the time. Happened to come upon this cafe, and it looks very simple. Nothing special, but it just drew me in. I have been back a handful of times and have never been disappointed.Prices are terrifically low. The food is good. Nothing negative to say. It is tasty, filling, and well portioned. There is no frills and this place doesn’t try to be something it isn’t. It is a welcomed change to the overly snooty restaurants in Port Townsend who think they are so grand, overcharge, and have mediocre food. The Lighthouse Cafe is perfect if you want some simple food, in a simple location, that won’t break your wallet. It enjoyable, and the people are nice. Come as you are, no need to dress up. Just take a seat, and know you will be treated with good, simple, food.

What a disappointment. Place took forever to get our food out and then they wanted to charge for every little thing, place wasn’t even that good. Also, I have to mention there was a man in a wheel chair that couldn’t get to the restroom. Isn’t that agains the law???
