Good food, funky, but can be slow. Three of us came in for dinner. We grabbed menus and figured out what we wanted a while before someone came to take our order. We have been here before, but it seemed a bit slower than before. Then it took a long time for the kitchen to get the food out, not just for our table, but for all tables. When the food arrived it was good. My mother-in-law had Nachos. The portion looked small, with only about 12 chips, but there was a decent amount of filling and it ended up enough food. My wife had the Provencal Chicken Linguine, which she liked. I had the Big Italian burger with onion rings, big and flavorful like a pizza. We all though the burgers were the best deal. Eventually we got more water, but the service continued to be a bit slow. The food is good and interesting, but don’t be in a hurry to eat.
I had pasta with meatballs and my husband had the big burger. Both were delicious. Space was colorful and well laid out. Will go again when in port Townsend.
Quaint and amazing. Amazing food, quaint atmosphere, incredible food. I ate a slider, and my boyfriend had a burrito. The slider was on a homemade biscuit, with grass fed beef, taziki sauce, cucumbers, tomato and onion…The slider was a perfect size since I always end up eating only half a burger at restaurants, and the burrito was stuffed full to the brim with goodness. My boyfriend is a bottomless pit and he was full by the time he was down to the last few bites. Prices are great! Would highly recommend!!
Good Soup!. The Owl Sprit always have the best tasting soups! Visiting from Nevada, I fell in love with the Owl Sprit and ate there almost every day that I was in Port Townsend. I still have cravings for their Artichoke soup that I had a few months ago! I just recently tasted their burritos and it was just as memorable as the soups.
Ggreat soup!. I just had my first of many lunches at this warm and delgihtful cafe. I had the Chicken Noodle Soup and it was without doubt the best I’ve ever had. Just right in every way. the people behind the counter were very friendly and I can hardly wait to go back to try more of their offerings.
Mmmm. Great food, nice ambiance, good people. Period.
Super in all aspects.. Four of us happened upon the place one night while waiting for our ferry to Whidbey Island. We had stopped in a larger place on the main street but found it to be cold inside and the staff not very responsive. That lead us around the corner to Owl Sprit. It really was a warm place and not just in temperature only. The owners were very warm and friendly as were the people enjoying their meals. The other patrons gladly shared opinions of menu items and my son-in-law and I settle on the Lamb Kabobs and were thrilled with the sellection. I also had a cup of Sausage and Lintels soup that was yummy. The others had salads that were crisp and fresh with a wonderful assortment of greens. My wife enjoyed her Tuna Melt too. After a wonderful meal and warm engaging conversations we wandered again into the chill of the night to catch our ferry home. But believe me we will be back.
