Sweet Laurette’s is one of Port Townsend’s finest restaurants. I’ve eaten there many times in the two years I’ve lived here and I can honestly say I’ve never had a meal less than incredible. The fresh ingredients, the menu choices (dinner changes frequently) and the wait staff are simply amazing. I also love that Laurette shops locally as much as she can for her food sources. You can’t go wrong eating here.
I love the food here. Fresh ingredients, made from scratch. The coffee is really good too. I won’t even go into the desserts on display! They are other-worldly! Crowded on weekends, so get there early or you’ll be waiting for a while.
Excellent Dutch baby and farmers market omlet. Lemon ricotta pancakes were good but not As amazing as I had hoped. The chai is more like a traditional Indian chai – less sweet than the chai you find at the local coffee shacks. Overall very good highly recommend it and will return on out next visit!
Don’t Change now!!!. Went to Sweet Laurette’s last week for the Unbelievable Dutch Babies but was disappointed. Half size portion compared to usual and was given toast to make it right. Used to be our favorite place for breakfast but looks like things might be changing. Also they were not accepting credit cards. Hope to have a better experience next time.
Cold Sausage. My sausage (brown n serve) link was cold, burnt toast and it took quite a while. But this was back when Macadoo ‘s had the breakfast mecca going. Maybe things have changed. I wonder how Harper is doing?
Good breakfasts and great macaroons!01 Nov, 2009The macaroons are excellent!
Sweet Laurette Cafe and Patisserie makes fabulous French pastries right here. Besides the coffee and sweets they also have a full brunch menu. Near the Community Center it is a great stop to make while visiting the Saturday Farmers Market.
