Excellent customer service and great food in a wonderful dining atmosphere. This is a more expensive restaurant and worth every penny. It’s my favorite restaurant in Poulsbo.
Burrata is just what Poulsbo needed. It’s about time Poulsbo got a romantic, yet reasonably priced, place to go out on the weekends. The ambience is fantastic, with the romantic deep red paint, dim lit bar, and scattered candles. I also love how it’s connected to its sister restaurant, Paella Bar.As for the starters, the Tuscan Bean Soup and Foccacia are a must. Everyone I’ve dined with has also really loved the beet salad (I’m just not a fan of beets.) My favorite entrees are the Four Cheese Pasta, Scampi, and whatever the daily special is. I recently had a Halibut over linguini dish that was incredibly tasty! The special desserts truly are the best. We had a Guiness ice cream a few weeks ago that was great, and you can’t go wrong with the chocolate torte with salt and caramel.I just have too many nice things to say about this place! I never have a bad time or a bad meal there.
Above average. Fantastic wine list, appetizers, dessert and service. Average entree’s.
Really fun place, food’s OK. After three dinners at BB I still love the place but think the food is only OK. The appetizers are better than the mains. I took most of my pasta puttanesca home — the sauce was way too intense for the amount of pasta — so I added eggplant and other things plus another large serving of pasta and some fresh mozzarella and had enough for 2 or 3 servings. Desserts — the lemon bread pudding is dull but the chocolate torte is magnificent. Split it 4 ways! So rich.
Nicely Done!. I have had dinner here twice and enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. The layout is perfect too. Seating along the bar, benched tables next to that, and cozy-ish booths along the wall. The baked goat cheese is a delicious way to start, and both the Penna alla Puttanesca and the Linguini Aglio e Olio were tasty.I am looking forward to my next visit there.
Delicious And Cool. I really enjoyed my meal at the BB. I had the Manicotti and tasted a Chicken Lasagne that was rockin! The setting was really cool too. The service was very delightful. I suggest that anyone that happens to be in Poulsbo try this joint out!
Worth a whirl. Great evening ambiance. Nice wine bar. The Italian food was nicely presented. Server graciously refilled the bread slices for the goat cheese appetizer. Dinner portions were sized just right to leave you room for dessert (which was delicious). Friendly service too. While they’re open for lunch, I’d say the best atmosphere is at night.
