Delicious food! We all ordered something different and loved the flavor. My shrimp appetizer was a lunch portion. The cucumber salad was not what I expected but the dressing made it scrumptious. Anthony’s beet salad with Salmon was amazing. Alexis had the schnitzel and she liked it very much.
There are a lot of really cute places in Poulsbo, but the entrance to this one was tucked away in an alley which we stumbled upon. I wasn’t expecting much since we just picked a random place to eat but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a mushroom dish (can’t remember what it was called…it might have been an appetizer?) that was much better than I expected and came in a sizable portion.
Don’t miss Tizley’s Europub when you visit Poulsbo. Poulsbo is a ‘go to’ type of town … and when you’re there ….be sure to have someone point out where to find Tizley’s Europub ….. one could walk by without knowing …. you’ve got to go up a flight of stairs from the main street (Front Street)….but it is definitely worth a climb up a few stairs. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent and the people who work there make you feel welcome. And if you are a beer aficionado .. well, you’re going to love this place. Note: it is handicap accessible from 3rd Street.
